Vulcan Steel Products Heat Treating division is a state-of-the-art facility focusing on induction heating for quench and tempered bars.

Vulcan began with one line in 1997 and has grown this operation to five lines with a size range of 3/8” to 4 5/8″. Similar to the Cold Finished Bar Division, Vulcan Heat Treat has grown their business with quality and service. With the installation of our fifth line, Vulcan can process bars up to 60′ in length. In addition to bars Vulcan has the capability to quench and temper tubes as well as rebar.

Heat treatments available at Vulcan are: Quench and Temper, Stress Relieving, Thru Hardening, Surface Hardening

Vulcan also has the capabilities of furnishing cold drawn or cold finished quench and tempered bars. Our standard lengths are 24′ but please note we can precision cut your bar to exact lengths from 4″ to 61′.
